From California Coalition for Women Prisoners

MAY 26, 2016 — Hello everyone, it’s me Kelly. I’m still in prison after more court delays, which is frustrating. Soon it will be 21 years. My next court hearing on my appeal is finally coming up next week.

Thank you for your continued support. I’m hopeful yet here I still sit, survived and punished in this oppressive system. In the meantime, I continue to find ways to work with so many domestic violence survivors here to help them learn and heal.

With your thoughts, prayers, and support, I continue to wait on a legal system while the injustice of criminalizing survivors captures more days and years without freedom.

In solidarity,

Kelly

We salute the courage and fortitude of Kelly Ann Savage, and condemn the great injustice that was done her.
